I've stumbled upon this widescreen fix today. Hopefully it'll end up to be useful for you guys. Enjoy!

Hidden and Dangerous 2 Widescreen Fix

Please use it only for Single Player. If you play with this fix in Multiplayer you will get a cd-key conflict. Avoid doing this or you can get kicked from the server.

As reported by Confused Master (29/06/2018) the cd-key issue has now been fixed.

I tried the widescreen fix and this was my experience:

@Damni it works (play around with your scaling settings if it don't) and it is nice to have it full screen without stretching the image. However, there seems to be a sort off "fish eye lens" effect I am not sure I like, it is more noticeable on open maps than in enclosed maps like buildings.. Also, the scope on rifles is different because you lose the "tunnel vision" and can still see around you. Some may like that because it gives you an advantage and more peripheral awareness (cheat?) while aiming scoped but kills immersion a bit.

We also have the VooDoo3D solution which I used before. Also makes the game full screen and with higher resolutions but stretches the images. But other than that it does not distort anything like the widescreen fix does. The widescreen fix makes the main menu a bit torn up making it harder to replace uniforms and such, also some camera angles you can watch before entering a map are screwed up. No game breakers, we are just still waiting on the perfect solution :)

The Voodoo3D solution can be downloaded here in our files section.

Some examples:

Scoped rifle:

Looking through tank barrel scope:

Does this tank look a little short to you? Or did I just get used to the stretched image?

Fish-eye effect you sometimes see in pre-mission camera angles and sometimes in wider maps:

In my situation I do not have such problems lol
How come my game work fine with this fix and yours has that fish eye or something and fpv messing up
:sos:
No fish eye (had to lower res of all my screens cus of that 1mb limit and my pics were 1.3mb - 1.5mb... only garand screen managed to slip through)

No distorted view in fpv for me (checked all camera angles)

Scope is fine and so is the tank view (no tank screen but confirmed cus played some single today)

Here's some aiming down sights with my custom garand no problems at all

That is interesting. Maybe because I had the voodoo solution installed before, even if I removed all those files.
I will do a new install of the game and see if that changes anything.
