Snow is right, Shay. I live in the province of Frosinone (halfway between Rome and Naples) and pizza is not good like in Naples. My gf lives 75 km South-east and pizza is different there, more similar to the neapolitan pizza. About prices Snow, the usual price for a Margherita (tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil) is 3,50 euro in Campania. If you want a pizza with sausage, mushrooms and tartufo sauce you will spend at least 5,50 euro. However prices grows up with the latitude, in Italy lol. However Shay, it doesn't mean that you will never eat a good pizza. I'm sure that in Polish big cities you can find Italian guys that opened a pizzeria over there.
I give you just an advice guys: please don't eat that pizza called "Hawaii", with pineapple :slap:
Pineapple on pizza is like Nutella on a steak :rambo:

I'm sorry to read your GF lives so far away :D

As I said. People don't care about good quality pizza. Prices go up if you
import almost everything, including flour. In US, a Margherita is at least $10-12.

Da Michele is probably in the top 3 Neapolitan style in the world. Of course,
the other two would be 50 Kalo and also newly opened Ammaccamm.

Eating a great pizza over there doesn't mean you understand more about it.

Lol snow, I forgot to say that you're more expert than many Italians about pizza (even than me lol).
Da Michele has only type of pizzas? I didn't know that pizzeria, anyway I don't think that it's a problem: in Italy some things are very fast: coffee and pizza, for example. We are not like Americans, that spend hours and hours drinking "pints" of coffee. We go in a bar, we order a coffee, drink it, pay and goodbye. Except for the "Saturday night pizza" at lunch it's very fast as well. In Naples especially, after you eat you can't remain to talk with your friends: there are dozen of ppl that are waiting for a pizza...so ppl move their asses after eating :D
