Anyone has tested the widescreen solution with a program called dgVoodoo?
If not you may give it a try. DanJirasek wrote a small manual.
I did not get it working, as soon as i start the game it crashes..

Instructions

*Widescreen support for H&D 2* Windows XP, 7, 10

[Stretched, no Black Bars, clear screen resolution, Full HD game experience]

Download the "dgVoodoo v2.53" a rar file above and read more in this an manual below

Step 1: Extract a downloaded RAR Files into your desktop [by using a "WinRAR" program for example]

Step 2: Copy (ONLY) the dll's files from the "MS" folder into the game folder (default installation directory) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Illusion Softworks\Hidden & Dangerous 2"

Step 3: Start the "dgVoodooSetup", and set up your ideal optional performance for running your game e.g. in 1920 x 1080 with a 16:9 aspect ratio

Step 4: Click "Apply" for confirming the maked changes. Exit and let your whole dgVoodoo v2.53" folder with files (+"dgVoodooSetup") in your files on a computer, at desktop e.g.

Step 5: Close all programs, restart PC, run your game as an administrator and your new resolution should be working.

+ I did include screenshots of my personal arrangement from "dgVoodoo and game H&D2 "setup" for reference. Look for more in folder at Google Drive #"Personal arrangement (for reference)"

+ (You don't have to repeat these steps anytime you start HD2)

This is perfect, tho when I put these dll files, H&D2 just won't start :sylvester:
I guess, goodbye HD experience ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I had this voodoo some time ago, then suddenly game just got messed up
and didn't want to start so removed these dlls :calimero:
I don't know, maybe I need to remove previous saved
settings somewhere on disk?

This program allows you to change the resolution to something higher than the game itself provides. I now have it in 1920x1080 and in widescreen, looks good with the higher resolution. Just a pity it's stretched.

as soon as i have the 3 dll's in my HD2 directory the game does not launch anymore. No matter what setting i choose in Voodoo.
Maybe it's because i have installed both HD2 versions, gog.com and with original disks?

However, as it works for most users i'll add the instructions to the FAQ page.
