I managed to capture one of the Panzer tanks in Africa1(airfield).


Started with DeLisle, left first enemy there (just unnecessary risk), took out second ones (to have safe area) and all enemy from left side of main building, nade the on who is on the roof, looking at tanks and 2 enemy at back side of main building.
After that, quick escape back to safe.

This procedure is time consuming ! But safe ! I think,. Feld have also uploaded a tutorial on it .. Please have a look .. But my opinion his method is fast but a bit riskier than yours

I remember playing one of the single player mods for the Africa map and being able to steal the tank. It only partially worked, though, because even if I got the tank, as soon as the alarm was raised the crew would spawn inside. In essence, I was driving a tank full of Nazis who couldn't figure out how to shoot me (not for lack of trying - the gunner had the turret was going nuts trying to blow up his own tank). When they weren't trying to self destruct to kill me, they were more than happy to kill my teammates. Meanwhile the other tanks still saw me as an enemy and were shooting at all of us. It was... quite an eventful mission.
