altering the mpmaplist was created by Mix
Hello,

On a clean install HD2 and HD2 SS and after patching 1.12 I installed CMP 1.6.
That one contains almost all maps til today. Now I have to update the mpmaplist.
Can I just replace the whole coop section of the mpmaplist with the cmp_maplist or do
I have to find out which maps are altered and which are new?
It's a very long list.

Do you plan to run your own server (internet or LAN)?
If you don't you don't need the mpmaplist, it's just for server side.

Otherwise I think you can indeed replace the entire coop section with the mpmaplist provided by cmp 1.6
Make backup of original first.
Of course, if you add maps from outside cmp you will have to add it's mpmaplist.

Trust is hard to gain but easy to lose.

If you want it HERE is my mpmaplist, should have all maps in it and saves you some work :)

In a glimps I see already many changes. Item numbers ammo numbers, a lot are different.
Also, your list contains the names of the items. Does it really matter that the lists contains
a lot of differences?

So all are different, is there a purpose?
Does it refer to the content of the scripts folder or missions folder?
I see completely different item numbers and ammo numbers.

not with the server manager, but from within the game

Well the mpmaplist determines which items are available on the map, so I guess it's up to you which version you use.
