have a small request to those who have experience in the modding decided to create one new map the first thing I did was to experiment added to the card soldiers and armored vehicles (using DCED) that's just for some reason, the soldiers would be unarmed, please help them to equip

Someone (i guess GSHawk) made nice program to help with equipment (HD2Scripter).
If you go to Files section (right side of forum) there are: "For more, have a look at HD2 Archive (OneDrive)..." there this program can be found in Editing folder.
In program go to Tools-Item Generator and make choices there.
Object name must be the same as soldier name in Actors.bin (if enemy name in Actors.bin is E01 then Generated object name must be same E01).

Hey,
now a file called items.dat handles equipment of AI.
it can be found in any coop missions folder.
To understand how it works i'd also suggest to work with an Hex Editor (i.g Tiny Hexer ) and read the Items.dat wiki page .
Just ask if you need more
