Howdy All... A Fun Death match map while lockdown...

Af3_domination_mp.

I hope you enjoy and have plenty of hrs fun time with this mod map of Africa 3 Dm.

<Objectives.>

You spawn inside the camp, you can not free role around the outside of the camp.

I have made transparent boundaries around the priminter of the camp..
You are not possible to glitch too the outside of the camp.

<<<Weapons, supply boxes, spawns.>>>

They is a total of 38 new spawns, and they is 2 flacks and 6 machine weapons in placements
For much hasty killing of your opponents.

Plenty of Ammo boxes, fist aid and hand grenades, scattered around the entire map.

Also now that being a smaller area map, you can have plenty time for many quick kills.

I also include the mpmaplist for hosting on a server..

That flak on the roof can give advantage to someone...
Make co-op missions, modded DM maps are rarely used in public servers.

I went outside, hope no one noticed, have to stay inside and healthy...:leave:



Can you remove textures and ground on the outside ?
Then even if someone manages to get by the barriers then there is no ground to stand on.
Maybe this ground is just one big piece, i havent check this with 3dsmax, its just a thought.

The one who hesitates is lost !

Editing the scene might be very complicated there. Maybe you could add artillery fire outside the oasis area, then no one will dare to go there. For dummies and scripts see Libya3 Littorio (Co_Libye3N3)

Yes, i can do almost any changes to a map. but i did not think about taking away objects, ie ground sand.

I do not have 3d max, I use dced, Revenged editor.

I been using the new tool for positions. HD2_PPD(Set2)
Wow , what a life saver. Now i can find the position objects with such ease. But the tool does not give soldier rotation ?
Which is difficult to face in wright direction, So maybe a little update to the tool ?.

Okay, This is for modders. Inside 4ds file we have many €? and the line for the texture. africa.bmp
So for the first line inside the 4ds file. you see ÈA €? its very simple to make textures disappear
just replace €? with dots .. then dots over the name of the map image. Save file.

For every 4ds file in a map. You make the new 4ds modules as for example you want to make part of the the sand disappear then use new 4ds with new name and place inside inside your mod map.

To get rid of Collison is more tricky . were is all €? inside a 4ds you replace dots, but do not take the .bmp map as because you will not see the object overwise . okay my little lesson.

I will see what is possible for future maps.. thank you..

Dont delete this ground, just give it H position something like -1000, then its very far under the surface.
I think it can work...

PPD Set 1 does not work for you?
For now i think i found correct adresses/offsets that should work.

Anyway...I have looked for rotation angle from memory but i didnt find it.
I think Its not stored as 360 degree system.
If you are pro user of CheatEngine (or some other memory debugging program)
Maybe you can find it. :confused:
I will try to find it again, maybe i missed something there...

This PPD program I have been working on:

Now It will allow to save player position as enemy(or ally) Object/Definition, so there is no need to set position in DCED.
You just stand on the place where you want enemy to be and save it and you get "EnemyName" and incremented number.
GE1, GE2 GE3.....and so on.
Also this program allows to move player camera just like spectator mode in some games like Call of duty.:love:
Then it allows to set your position from camera position, so you can fly on top of the hill and set enemy position very easy.
And it offers to save and restore your position (very useful for large maps so you dont waste time to run to places you want to go).
All this is working, but with no rotation angle...:(

Your program is fine stern. it really great bit of kit. So cleaver mate.

Wish that i new how todo such things.

Isn't they a way to move objects around in the overlay of the playable area ?
I have to make a server with one map only. And type in console NEXTMAP. Then i can change object. Move it. Then i have to keep repeating process to
see were i place objects.

Need a video placement, object editor. that hooks into the game. I have seen plugins before that can do this requirement.

Must be something around. But for now i will just use what they is .


Also mate. Your program. Is it not possible to take the part of the (rotation) from the dced.
And make part in your app. north, south and east and west.

And put in programme just as n = 360 e = 270 s = 180 w = 90 official position = 0 ...

As all in 360 rotational..
