New weapons & panzers add-on

Hello all and greeting!

I am new to this forum but I've came across forum member's work few years ago (when I brought this game back to LAN party with my friends on university in my student's years). First of all I would like to thank all of you for keeping this game alive after all this years. I've been playing HD2 from 2005 and I still play it ever since but now mostly on CooP with my friends or through LAN.

I came across Sasha's work on YouTube few days ago, I was able to install this mod is something that I wouldn't even dream of few years ago. It brings so much joy just to test new weapons across different CooP maps. But here is my question - how can one's make axis weapons available to player through coop mode? Is it even possible? I know you can somehow edit items.sav file but I am not that familiar with modding it and I could do it myself if there was some tutorial or with someone's help

Rellhaiser made a tool to edit it, I know how to use it and making axis weapons available to allies to is easy, just go to the weapon and make the team flag to all teams instead of axis. The hard part is unless you are playing a PvP mode, the mpmaplist likely only has allied weapons to offer you.

The mpmaplist is serverside so you would have to edit your's and host your own server or lan game with you as the host

most of the time I play with bots on self hosted LAN server, but I already noticed that changing only mpmaplist.txt and ALLOWED ITEMS section doesn’t work as expected. So I guess only solution is to actually change the flag from axis to allied as you said, then probably it should work fine
