Hi.

I've downloaded most of the multiplayer maps that have been made available on this site over the years and enjoyed them immensely.  I've played many of them over and over and continue to do so.  I wish to thank all the designers.  I've also become fairly adapt at using the HD2 Script Editor and the Lutsip Engine to put in my own modifications to customize them further.  Both these are excellent tools and I also wish to thank the designers of these tools for creating them and making them available to everyone.  I prefer single play rather than coop play, however, so I play these maps on my own even though they have to be played in cooperative mode.  But there are some big advantages to single play.  For one thing, I like the singleplayer "friendly fire" feature, where errant shots or grenades from enemies can affect their own men.  This is much more realistic than having a grenade land in the midst of a bunch of enemies with no effect, as happens in coop mode.  More importantly, though, it's very handy to be able to pause the game and to save and reload it at a later time.

"Beware" is one of my favorite maps, and I've further modded it to add in many more mobile and infantry reinforcements waves that come in at random times, for a total of about 170 enemies.  I've been working on converting this to singleplayer by starting with the "Billable Entry" singleplayer map, deleting all actors, and then re-creating all the actors from "Beware" on this map from scratch.  It' going to take days for me to finish this, and I there's no way I could do this with all the coop maps that I want to play in singleplayer mode.

For this reason, I was wondering if there is a straightforward procedure to convert any map from cooperative to singleplayer, or at least to put in the "pause" feature in multiplayer maps since that would help immensely when playing them solo.  I haven't been able to figure out how to do this and haven't seen anything posted on this or any other site, but perhaps I've missed something that's already been posted somewhere.  I have not dabbled in hex editing, but would be willing to learn if that's the only way to do it.  Bottom line, if there is a straightforward procedure for converting any cooperative map to singleplayer, would someone please let me know or else direct me to a post if it's already been described elsewhere.

Thank you very much.

The thread you referenced is one that I did see, but he didn't receive a definite answer.  Someone suggested in the thread that he compare the mission folders for maps had already been converted.  I tried that with a couple of the maps, but still couldn't figure out what needed to be changed.  Thank you for asking Zdenda about it if you get the chance.

The RPR Clan gaming community has long been known to fans of action battles and online battles. Fans of dynamic games gather here to share their experiences, participate in competitions, and enjoy the atmosphere of teamwork. Every evening, players from different countries can be found on the server, which makes the process even more interesting and unpredictable. Interestingly, gaming often intersects with other areas of entertainment. For example, in the world of casinos, special attention is paid not only to the thrill of gambling, but also to the design of the venues, where every detail creates a unique atmosphere. In this regard, it is worth paying attention to the article on how the world's most impressive casinos are created and what elements allow them to make such a strong impression on visitors — ahouseinthehills.com. The article reveals architectural solutions, gaming spaces, and aesthetic approaches that can surprise even those who are far from the gambling industry. Thus, both the esports community and the casino world share a common idea: to create a space where people can fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere, feel the thrill, and experience vivid emotions. RPR Clan gives this to its players through online battles, and the world's best casinos do so through their unique design and atmosphere.
