And no thanks to people who say, a bit too much easily, "never again", because this is only bullshit, because this is hypocrisy, because the real world shows us, every day, that "never again" is "everyday again".

Biafra, Korea, ex-Yugoslavia, central Africa, Middle West, and so much more, and so much more ... Don't say me "never again". That's all.

June 6, 1944; D-Day

In a grand operation, the allied forces under the command of General Eisenhower have landed on five beaches in Normandy, France, to finally begin the liberation of Europe. After months of preparation, the operation began with over 600 allied planes bombing German defenses before 5,300 ships carrying 150,000 troops set sail for France. Eisenhower called for "full victory - nothing else."

Regarding US, i don't understand why they don't celebrate WW2 Victory. They don't have a national holiday to mark WW2 victory and sacrifices.
