Well, to be honest, she (la voiture) was not so reliable, I had some breakdowns along the road.
It was a good time to be an ADAC member; they repaired my car for free.

I really liked the huge space inside combined with compact outside measures (and I can tell you, la BX provided more comfort than a Mercedes S class of that time).

I think this name "la voiture" is also used for train carriages in french.

In romanian for train carriages we use "vagon" similar to "wagen". Maybe
this comes from german.
