Pope Francis visiting Romania in 2019, being the second pope to visit our country, after Pope John Paul II in 1999, who was the first pope to visit an Orthodox Christian country - Romania.

Ion Iliescu, Romania's first president passed away yesterday at the age of 95 years. Unfortunately he never answered why over 1000 people were shot at the revolution by the army and who gave the order, plus the fact that he called on the miners to beat up the student protesters in the 1990s.
