This one, i already had it in sight since a while but, at 18 euros the beast, i always hesitated ...
Well, this morning, i stopped to hesitate ...
The substantific talent of Martha Argerich is here, including previously unreleased radio recordings from 1959 and 1967, and also works which comes new in Argerich's discography. One hour of pure music, my Clipper 312 are smiling.

this tune is from a while ago,
when even great country rock singers got disco-ed away in some way…, conjuring the end of that area…

Well lads, those who keep an eye on this forum have maybe noticed my great preference for Martha Argerich ...
But that doesn't means that she's alone at the top ... Here comes another world class reference ...
Rubinstein's playing is not Argerich's playing, for sure ... ( Of course, at this level of skills, each artist is "unique" by himself ...)
So, for me, Rubinstein may sometimes appear as, well, let's say much "academic", much "classic", perhaps not so much "flamboyant", not so much "revolutionary" as Martha Argerich may appears perhaps (certainly)... But it doesn't prevent him to, obviously, have fun with his piano, having so beautiful style figures at a moment or another ... And also, about "sensibility" on the composer's spirit, he has nothing to envy to the great Martha ...
Well, how much quotation marks and parenthesis, isn't it ? But, sorry, it's the only way i know to talk about something that is just feeling ...
Almost two hours of top level Chopin, if you please ...
