The 80s were the beginning of a wide experimental field of the new discovered possibilites that some brand new developed synthesizers brought with... (you actually can say, that synthesizers, which generally of course also already existed before, were developed to be more compact and cheaper then, as well as the quality of the sounds got better and it was easier to create own sounds with them, without having a whole building full equipped with technical devices... The legendary Yamaha DX7 is the best example for these new developments)

Beside Kraftwerk, Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre, as well as Pink Floyd of course (who were already beginning with their experimental music in the 60s even), there had been a numberous amount of sound projects doing their experiments with the given possibilities.
"Tangerine Dream" had been one of them.

In their aspiration to include serious poetry by William Blake into their music, they also made this track:

Tangerine Dream - Tyger

Those who are interested in the lyrics only, they will find it here
