I am not very young, but some musics of my adolescence are timeless as that of the Neil, it take a lot of time to make them to you appreciate.Nostalgy of my 70 s ;(

Here's the title i talked about to the lads with whom i played tonight.

Well, in fact, i just understand something like this "In the homeland, in the homeland, we will meet again."

I also really don't know if it's just a classic popular one in Germany or if it was used for nazi propaganda, so take it just as an information.

EDIT : Of course, if this is related to any nazi stuff, please accept my apologizes and also let me know in order to delete it immediately.

I agree, for the people of this generation, we know now that we are lucky for having known these years...

Bob Dylan - Forever young

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

A little Soap Kitsch;)

and a soldier song (from 1824)

I try to provide a translation of the second song (Rider’s Morning Song):

Early morning dawn, early morning dawn,
do you shine to my early death?
Soon the trumpet will be blown,
then I must give my life,
me and many comrades.

Hardly thought, hardly thought,
there’s an end to desire!
Yesterday still on proud horses,
today shot through the chest,
tomorrow into the cool grave!

Oh, how soon, oh how soon,
Beauty fades and shape!
Although your cheeks shine,
just like milk and purple,
Oh, the roses wither all!

Therefore silent, silent,
I’ll be obedient, just as God wills.
Well, I will fight bravely,
and shall I suffer death,
dies one brave horseman!
