Here is a great text set to music by Jean Marc Grossi, a singer from Corsica. This poem was written in 1943 by Louis Aragon. In 1944, he dedicated it to four French Resistance fighters executed by the nazis. Two of them were communists and the two others were christians. This text is a call to the resistance against the oppression, beyond political and religious divides.

I may be forgiven for thinking that it has always been with us...
