Hey lads, for slightly ending this year 2014, a title that i love very much, by Gato Barbieri.
Well, doubtless the Latino sax magician is world known by the planetary success of his cover of Europa, a cover well known for being an absolute weapon for guys who want to explain some things to the woman who turn them concerned, one saturday night with a couple of chandeles, some fine fresh Cancale oysters and a bottle of Meursault waiting in an ice bucket, by example... I'm sure i don't teach you anything by saying that oysters got a fine reputation of being an aphrodisiac meal, see what i mean and, for purists, i'll add that this mariage with the Meursault is something, well, let's say dared...)
But back to the music, Barbieri didn't perform only this major hit and i can tell you that the entire album whom which those title comes, Caliente ! (Hot ! in English), really keeps its promises and can be played all along this famous diner, hu... What d'you want, there are things like that, as a crossed look one night in a lounge bar or as this famous chess game in The Thomas Crown affair, between Steve McQueen and the so precious Faye Dunaway, which make us remember that we're not made by wood...
So, for giving you a bit of taste, i chosed this title, the sixth from this album. It's simply called I want you and it's simply... how can i say it ? Moodly... That does exist, moodly ? Well, who cares if it does exist or not : Pump on the volume, friends, it's winter here but, in a corner of the room, a South-American saxophone warm it a bit...
