In Verdun, during an apocalyptic bombing, the soldier Jeannot tries desperately to take cover in his trench. At this moment, the clarion sounds the signal of the attack. Bravely, Jeannot goes out of his trench and, immediately, an enormous shell explosion sends him flying in the air. By crashing on the ground, concussed but unhurt, he strikes an officer:

- Oops, forgiveness my lieutenant.
- I'm not a lieutenant, soldier!
- Ah... H'm... Forgiveness, my commander.
- WTH, soldier! I'm not commander, i'm general!
- Wow! What a blast! Am i thus so far from the frontline?
