Summer 2024 Coop Marathon

Aloha, dear friends

We already have 20 years of H&D2 behind us and we intend to keep things very active around here. Starting 11th August 2024 @ 19:00 UTC in summer time and @ 20:00 UTC once the one hour shift occurs in October, =RpR= will be hosting our traditional Coop Marathon also known as TLC , earlier made popular by the GS clan. We will start playing every Sunday evening, as we did for over a decade, hopefully with motivated soldiers after the break we had in the past years.

Chances are we will start playing the regular Campaign missions and then continue with the Sabre missions, every Sunday until we finish both campaigns. After that, we will resume our old shenanigans with custom made mission lists, as the players desire

We encourage you to join one hour earlier on our Justice server so we can play a few warmup rounds, if this is possible for you. In the cases when we don't have enough motivated players for the classic TLC, we will just continue the evening rounds on the Justice server

Everyone is welcome to join us, but for our private events joining Teamspeak is necessary. Even if you can't use voice communication or don't have a microphone, you can at least be coordinated by others... since typing everything is a pain in the butt. All you need is the CMP (Coop Map Package) downloaded and install into your game folder.

One of our reconnaissance planes has been shot down during a patrol over Norway, close to the Arctic circle. Before the crash, our pilot has informed the HQ about a military complex in the area. Our team has been sent out there to recover the pilot and investigate the enemy complex. One of our local Norwegian guides will guide us to the complex.

We start at the usual time with voice communication, on our Teamspeak server 78.47.255.224. The server for the event will be =RpR= Otto and it will have a password. We will play this campaign on Hard difficulty and one life only. Get your gear ready and look sharp

Gentlemen, today we begin Operation Nomad. We are called upon to perform a very dangerous and very risky operation; that is capturing one of the high ranking German officers in command over North Africa. We have information that he is visiting the airport Abn-Sin-Oan at 18:00 UTC tonight, for regular inspection of the Italian troops. Colonel Schumann holds vital information of Axis defences in North Africa, so we must capture him alive at all cost. Surprise is the key! Check your gear and your rations. Our mission will not be easy! Good luck, lads!

It's time we get our aqualungs and mosquito nets ready for this weekend as our command will send us on two dangerous missions. First, we head out to the cold fjords in Norway where we will attempt to find the great Nazi battleship, the Tirpitz. You must practice safely placing of the underwater magnetic mines. Next, we go on a trip to Burma, where we must investigate the secret research made by the Japanese deep inside the jungle. We shall also assist our British forces capture a bunker of strategic importance  
Our summer ends soon, but we continue our Coop Marathon in September. Back to Europe! This time we visit Austria in our attempt to recover the lists our secret service operators within Nazi ranks. Our mission is deep behind enemy lines and failure is not an option as the lives of our agents are in our hands. The Allied invasion is set to start and our task is to assist their transport of troops and equipment that is in range of the Nazi cannons. Our journey will end at the bank!
