The 45th Lorient Interceltic Festival began officially today and will last ten days, as usual.
As usual too, special prices for Elvish miniatures and similar, about 20% off.
So, here we go again, let me introduce Luinil, which means something as "Blue light star", the eighth of my collection...
Also, Brittany is a land of legends, so let me introduce Maëlle, witch by profession and, as all her colleagues, protector and guard of the home, especially when suspended above the entrance door. It will be the case right tomorrow.

Well this will interest no one but this evening I finished more or less my last project of "cleaning up the past" in my house / apartment.
Somehow since my last cat died about four months ago I got inspired to make a clean house again. I have lived here for 15 years and boy, do you collect a mess in that time.
If you smoke you may have some idea what 15 years of smoking indoors does to your home. So I had to clean all my woodwork, doors, ceiling and so on. I also cleared all my closets, throwing away all kinds of rubbish, clothing, bedding stuff, blankets, electronics, computers and parts, cables, packaging, games, CD's, DVD's, music (all backed up of course), magazines and so on and so on.
One off the last things was going through 25 years of administration, keeping what's important and scrapping whats obsolete. I have four (4!) garbage bags full of paper, which I all processed using a paper shredder. Also found some love letters and pictures from loves long gone which got me a little depressed...
This afternoon I made two trips to the local garbage dump, my car filled to the top. Feels good to have gotten rid of all this stuff.
One thing I should still do is paint all the walls / ceilings / doors again to make it really fresh again.
There is still one project left though, my garage on ground level. But this is mostly a matter of putting stuff in my car and moving it to the garbage dump, I estimate three rides / one afternoon
Will also do that before the summer is over.

"Cleaning up the past" sounds really the point.
I know a bit about that, i've thrown away i don't know how much old papers some months ago ...
And, among them, there was also one of this kind of letter ... In my case it was a postcard ...
