One example more about the reconversion of the former Lorient Keroman submarine base.
The municipality of Lorient announced the finalization of the MAPL / Le Manège project. The goal is to regroup, in a same location, the offices of the MAPL association, who's people work for musicians here, providing support, equipments, studios, instruments, training sessions, concert advertising and others, and the concert hall of Le Manège. The spot will be in the dock 6, bunker K2, just beside the submarine Flore.
These two major entities here in Lorient, working both about music and who's people know each other very well were, until today, separated in two different locations in the city, so we can imagine they should have better working conditions when the construction site will be finished, in 18 months.
Good news for some of my buddies musicians here
