I like gardening, Dan :^^:
I planted 2 Washingtonia filifera (California palm), the first one in 2013 and the 2nd one about 2 months ago. Obviously small palms...for now :)
I planted watermelons 2 weeks ago, for the 1st time in my life. Climate was hot (25-26°C during afternoon), but since last week it's cold...hope that won't ruin my palnts. I made these pic yesterday:

Nice! I planted watermelons 2 years ago. At the end I've only got one fruit :(
Not going to try again, as I don't have a lot of space, I rather plant other stuff.

Probably climate is not good in the outback, for watermelons. However I have a real "passion" for palms. Palms are green for the whole year and give to the garden a "tropical" sense. I just love them. I planted also some Phoenix Dactilifera and some Chamaerops Humilis , but they grow up very slowly. It would be better to buy at least 50-60 cm tall plants.
About bonsais, they are very hard to do, I never tried it. But I'm sure that they can give you a great satisfaction when you do it. Good luck Dan ;) :^^:

Amazing shot by O'sullivan :surprised:
(Starts somewhere 1h:49min)

And more amazinsg is the sequence after the shot, it was the plan to leave black in the middle of white and red. gj :gj:

Brilliant shot, maybe more appreciated if you play snooker yourself sometimes. It's such a hard game.

Trust is hard to gain but easy to lose.
