70th anniversary of D-Day
The documentary by the director Pascal Vuong, " D-Day, Normandy 1944 " tells and explains, for the first time in 3D on big screen, the various phases of the landing in Normandy. This documentary is a summary of history of 40 minutes, told by the actor François Cluzet for the French version, and by the American television reporter Tom Brokaw for the version in English.
The movie goes out on Wednesday in Paris, at the hemispherical screen of La Géode , and will be released in about fifteen cinemas in North America by the end of May. It also has to be broadcast on June 6th at the Zénith of Caen, in Normandy, according to the production.
Here's the trailer, in French
EDIT: I provide the English translation, that's not so hard...
In June 1944, they are ten, twenty, fifty years old...
Their names are John, Winston, Violette, Edouard, Dwight,...
They come from the four sides of the world and this summer, they all gather to free Europa...
This summer, together, with hundreds of thousands men and women, they will write one of the greatests page in history...
Today, come to meet those who gave all this summer in Normandy for our liberty...
D-Day, Normandy 1944, soon at La Géode...

Yea, but it's a pity lot of stuff is not translated yet on this website.
By example, among the different organized events, here's something that interest me eventually, and it doesn't appear in another language (at least i didn't find it.)
Basically, it talks about some hikings on different key spots of D-Day. (Well, sure, all D-Day spots were key spots...

If you loved The Great Escape movie, you'll love Hogan's Heroes
series. It's a 6 season with about 30 episodes each. Every episode
is 25 minutes. The best
