For those thinking about buying a replica weapon, make sure what the laws in your country are. In Holland for example you can get into trouble for having a life-like replica of a firearm.

Trust is hard to gain but easy to lose.

In Italy WAR weapons and ammo are not admitted for civilians (for ex. if you have a gun you CAN'T get 9X19 cartridge, but only 9X21).

In Canada, any fake or replica weapon (cap guns, airsoft guns, weapons w/o firing pin, etc.) must have an orange tip on the barrel. If the orange tip has been painted over/removed you can be charged as if you are carrying a real gun.

This happened in Toronto a few years ago. Two teenagers were playing around with an airsoft gun and one pretended to shoot the other. People on a bus going past thought the gun was real and called the police. The kids were charged because a person who did not know the gun was fake would have thought it was real. Just a case of kids acting stupid, but something to be careful of.

In terms of real weapons, automatic or assault weapons are not permitted PERIOD. Handguns and sidearms are strictly regulated: if you plan on taking a sidearm anywhere, even to a firing range, you need to call the police and tell them where you are going, what time you are expected to be there and what time you are expected back. Rifles and Shotguns can be kept and used for hunting, but are not allowed in public areas. If you threaten anybody or even have a gun in a situation where it can seem threatening, it can be considered assault with a weapon. Same goes for knives.

Cool site, by the way :gj:
