It was my 1st TLC. And i don't have a MIC which was a problem (actually i have a MIC but problem with Motherboard which doesn't detect it). Thanks for your patience guys.

I could hear you on TS. Tempting to join the conversation but i couldn't. : (

So lets plan for next week TLC. A suggestion, why not decide the maps in Advance that are best fit for TLC.

Example - Burgundy Farmstead - Two squads lead by a leader. One attack from front. Other from rear of the house. Ambush the enemy and capture the House. Later take out the Tanks easily. One member will stay hidden outside of house and when enemy Tanks come, he will silently plant explosives.

Libya Tiger Tomb - Two squads both taking a Allied Tank each. Two Snipers will escort the Tanks and protect from outside. Conserve Tank Ammo and finish the mission.

Libya 3 - Lets try something interesting. How about trying to finish this mission in under 30 minutes? Lets take it as a challenge. Two squads with team leaders. First squads goes to storm the enemy post bunker. 2nd squad goes to the village and kill the enemy commander. When first squads successfully captures enemy post, it coordinates with 2nd squad to ambush the Tiger Tank and destroy it. Lets see if we can do all in under 30 mins.

Well, its a choice of strategy. Dealing with certain maps with patience is one strategy. But i think of trying something different.

Prepare a strategy to finish a particular map within a timeline. That's the real test of tactics and brains.

How about this? Leader of TLC will prepare a plan to finish a map in certain time. Then leader will ask other players to execute the plan and lets see how it goes.

For e.g Finish

Burgundy 2 in under 20 mins
Farmstead in under 30 mins
Libya 3 in under 30 mins (though this may be a little difficult)
CZ Marketplace in under 30 mins
Sicily 2 in under 20 mins (i have done it in SP)

etc etc

Well lads, starting a discussion about new options or evolutions on TLC, why not ? But what about opening a new topic for that and keeping this one here only for screenshots ?

I've already made a map list of the Best Missions for TLC .

We have tried your suggested tactic and several other tactics for Farmstead. Some
work very well, some fail at some point. It all depends on the TL and the mood of every
player. Anything is worth trying, that's the point of a TLC. Not to say sorry because
you failed. The success is when we tried something different and we had fun doing it.

Planning too much in advance is not a good idea. From my experience of leading hundreds
of maps is that not everything goes to your plan. Make a general plan and be ready to
improvise. Everything can fail. It depends if we play with one life or more. Sometimes
when we play with more lives, it gets frustrating if you keep dying and have to regroup
or restart the map more than 1-2 times.

Finishing maps by time is okay, but it can lead to disorganization and lack of focus. We
need well trained players with good skills as individual and understanding roles inside the
team. Sometimes I got the feeling you haven't read our TLC article or at least haven't
understood the idea. The TL decides how the mission would be played and what objectives
to be completed in what order; if there's a larger number of players(10). It's the team(s)
who do the small planning. The TL also gives the rules and roles of every player, if he
chooses to do so. The TL doesn't get upset if his plan fails and blames others for no knowing
how to complete an objective. It's one thing to play alone on a server or in your imagination
and quite different when playing with other human beings. Always expect the unexpected.

What is always a challenge is to play with one life only and have no casualties or at least
set a minimum of 1-2 casualties.

"Straight and narrow is the path."
