R.I.P. Neil Armstrong. Thank you.

I really feel sorry for those that say he didn't actually step on the Moon.
Anyway, humans will always want to go further and further, sniffing the unknown.

I was a child, i was seven years old and, sitting on the floor, i looked at these incredible pictures on my parents black and white TV, i remember it very well. I remember as well as a few weeks later, my mother had bought for me the LEM model kit, it was sold like hot cakes. Today, we don't maybe realize the impact of such an event for the time, and also we can ask the question of why, why all this money for the conquest of space, while there are so many problems to be settled on earth. I don't have the inborn science, i don't have the answer, but i say to myself that there is maybe a future in all this and that it's not the worst way that had the man to surpass itself. For all mankind, maybe one day it will be true. Fly me to the moon, and thank you for the stroll, Mister Armstrong.

Little easy local wink... ;)

Planned by Colbert and chartered by King Louis XIV, the French East India Company (Compagnie Française des Indes Orientales) is established on 27 August 1664.

Two years later, the establishment of the company headquarters on the lands in front of Port Louis will end in the foundation of the city of Lorient.
