Steff - true and false at the same time :-) It really depends on the region where you live. In whole country you celebrete birthdays until 18. After that in some regions there goes namesday at the first plan. For example - i live in Zielona Góra - western Poland. We celebrate namesday more than birthday (since current age people don't want to remember it :P). Agu live in region called GreaterPoland and as I can see, here they celebrate birthday more :-)
