This event is called "Gratiferia" and it takes place in Lorient since some months already, one day a month.
Well, the title, that comes from the post in the local press here , speaks by itself...

Today in France are the elections for the Senate, the upper house of the French Parliament.

Well, i'm not going to talk about politics but just posting this graphic, extract from the French Wikipedia and showing the way of powers in France...

And when i think that, in the local press these days, there were a video, supposed to explain the Senate to the children...




Why make it simple if we can make it complicated...? :sarcy:
