Correction at image 13 - that's a crankshaft, not a camshaft.
From what I know crankshaft are in the body of the engine and
camshafts are in the head of the engine. Crankshafts turn the
pistons in the engines and camshafts open the valves.

Not be a smart ass but actually it's the other way around and the pistons turn the crankshaft which in turn drives the transmission.

Yes, you're right, Jo. Crankshafts push the pistons only if you turn the crankshaft by hand
