Don't know much why i post this one now... Pfff, for several reasons doubtless. Because i like it, because it's an enormous text, written by a monster and sung by another one... Because also i know a bit the lad who made this video editing on Dailymotion...
Maybe also because i want to talk as an old idiot...
It's by Léo Ferré. I have too much respect for this immense poet to dare a translation which would respect his text then i provide the original French lyrics.
Vingt ans
Pour tout bagage on a vingt ans
On a l'expérience des parents
On se fout du tiers comme du quart
On prend le bonheur toujours en retard
Quand on aime c'est pour toute la vie
Cette vie qui dure l'espace d'un cri
