Well, i prefer in the sea, that gives more options to enter the fortress and also that allows snipers to shoot from the rocks far away :nod:




EDIT : But Snow's arguments are also valid, respawning in the sea it's a kind of punishment by swimming so much again if we play with more than one life. Don't know, maybe it's possible to integrate inside the fortress a second respawn spot that triggers when we reach the inside...? Well, it's just a suggestion :mm1:

I can say: first of all at the begining of the mission - spawn in the sea, and once you reached in the fortress there will appear a second spawn point and then you will can respawn in 2 places: sea and fortress

edit: oh Nik didn't noticed your edit, yeah something like that, but after that being available to spawn in the sea too , having 2 spawn spots, just what I said above

On the map Alps 2 may appear serious allied soldier dressed in German uniform???

Indeed. Unfortunately i have not found a way to make the Alps driver uniform selectable in inventory setup.
Maybe if i edit an existing model regarding the bitmap names.. But that'd be complicated i guess.

However, newer versions are online: http://79.143.187.92/data/ (hd2-redone-maps-v2.7z)

Hopefully all soldiers are working fine now.

The Alps 1 easteregg should work as followed:
Instead of the corpses like in SP you now have to take 2 hunter caps and 1 grey helmet on top of the rock. Also the whole team must stand next the rock as well.

Normandy 1 EE: Destroy the 10 bottles, then kill the sleeping soldier (similar to SP)

Alps 2 EE: disabled (not working for non-dedicated servers)

Burma 1 EE: Kill all enemies, then destroy the 3 skulls.

Anyone know how to play this map? No matter what I try or where I look I find no way.
