Hm yes i think it was better the way before. Had Oddball as driver and he was driving up the road if you are near the tank. If you stay away he stops.
Allieds do not shoot unless you script them to do so, but as you drive all around the map this is not really possible. Just placed him there to block the mg.
I'll check about the PAKs.
Also noticed that the Opel/SdKfZ crew not always gets alerted and stays inside their vehicle.

But then you cannot park the tank in a safe spot, if he just sits there he could be a target for bazooka's or the tanks and fail the mission.

That's all tactical matters, you still can clean the area before letting the tank continue
