Well Stern, if you want to deal with that mission, the first thing is that the map must include a railway (CZ1 ?), a tunnel (also CZ), a river (Normandy2B ?) and a bridge (Sicilia2 ?), and must have a moving locomotive just as in CZ1. That's the beginning and already that seems impossible to me because, afaik, we cannot merge a part of a map with another part of another map...
Also, the real way this mission was performed in June 44 is a bit, well, surprising, as the English and French guys from the SAS were surprised to discover that trains don't move on the same lanes in France and in England ... That's specific, that was a real hard point during the authentic mission and that must be included in the scenario and managed by scripts i think.

Maybe we should be looking more into this?

It's still early in development, but it shows promise, and using blender as an engine would have more versatility than LS3D.

Normandy2 has no river but Normandy3 has river and a bridge too...CZ1 has railway and small tunnel too. CZ3 has small tunnel, river without water and a railway on the hill...
Choose from these that fits best for this mission.
But yes we are stuck on collision file

Yes, you're right, it's Normandy3, i thought about this one but i merged both.
Actually, the real bridge looks pretty much as the one on Sicilia2 but, in fact, this bridge didn't take any significant part in the real mission,
because one of the objectives was precisely to keep it undamaged *, in order that the Allies could use it further for entering Brittany after liberating Normandy.
The key is the tunnel, it's the spot were the sabotage was performed and it's the main theatre of this operation. Also, if we want to stick to reality, we should have the possibility of moving locomotives, something similar as the incoming train on Cz1, you see, but on a two lanes railway,
Considering this, i think that the best base could be Czech2, because the almost totality of the tunnel is accessible, but there's only one lane and no working locomotive.
* To keep this viaduc undamaged was an objective, so no way to plant any TNT on it. But what about supposed German charges, pre-positionned and readdy to blow, as the Germans did also with the bridge of Nijmegen during Operation Market-Garden ? At this moment, it's only supposition by me, i don't have any information confirming or not such a thing in real operation, but demining the viaduc could be an additional objective for the map, just as Sicilia2 in fact.

The idea is good to create a mission that has some historical background, that way it has a story behind it.
I also have some ideas to make some missions based on movies. (...most of them are based on reallife events)
Example: Normandy1 can be used for Guns Of Navarone(1961).
Probably find some more good movies for missions from 890+ movies i have seen.

Just a point about the picture posted by Snow. This was a first draft for the loader at the time i worked a bit on it.
All the pictures used for it are authentic, the three SAS soldiers are the real ones, the plane was this type, the pictures showing the tunnel and the bridge are real, so they can give you a maybe better idea of this location. By example, the little barrack we can see at the bridge entrance was used as a postguard by the Germans. The topographic map used bakground gives you a wider view.
