Second accident in less than a year for the company TransAsia Airways. One of its planes is indeed fell into a river in Taipei on Wednesday with 58 people on board. 11 people were killed in the accident, according to firefighters. Such kind of disaster really brings me fear, particularly when i think that my parent's building is right on the air corridor of the Lorient Lann-Bihoué airport. Since they live there, we had two major crashes of navy aircrafts. It was during the 70's, if i remember well. The first one was a
Lockheed P-2 Neptune
which crashed on landing on the navy tarmac. No survivors. The second one was a
Breguet Atlantic
which crashed on the coast road during its final approach. Only one rescaped, third-degree burned. He was a neighbor and lived in the next building. That brings fear, really.
