Since this morning and until March, 31, the NATO is conducting an operation of search and destroy of mines in the English Channel, in an area between Dieppe and Le Havre, where there are still many deadly weapons which sleep at the bottom of the sea since 70 years or more.

NATO committed 10 specialized vessels and expects a large harvest, following the discovery of many of these devices thanks to the high tides.

Nice and very intersting article Jo, but that porcelain marked "Made in Germany" maybe is a fake. Nazi Germans would have never used English language because of their conservative politics. I say that on the basis of Italian experience: during the Fascist period in Italy it was forbidden to use foreign words (ex. "paralume" instead of French word "abat-jour", or "autorimessa" instead of French word "garage" etc.). However I say "maybe" because I'm not an historian, so I may be wrong...

You could be right Daniele, I was not able to find an example that said "made in Germany" in a short search. However, I did see some dishes that said "Germany" so I'm wondering if maybe porcelain that was made for foreign markets was labelled "made in Germany" and the products for the home market maybe completely in German?
