Very good series. I prefer however the first season which is better for my taste compared with the second

Dear friends, What do you think was the best time for cinema?
As far as western cinema is concerned, i think 1950s-70s was a good time for US Cinema. Many films with great Depth. You can pick up pretty much anything with Henry Fonda & its a Gem. Also movies on Politics & Cold war were deep & insightful. 7 days in May, The Best Man, Dr Strangelove, The Network etc. Some of the greatest American films in my opinion.
1980s-90s was mostly dull & mediocre in US apart from few exceptions.
2000 - Present. I don't see much depth in present cinema. Only couple of films in a year that deserve attention.
