Some important history about British Army. I don't know how people in Europe perceive British military. Highly disciplined, efficient, smart, Brave.

But we in India have different story to tell. India was a colony of Britain for 200 years. Some of the "Missions" carried out by British Army.

Maybe people don't know an interesting fact that Indians actually were part of British Army. Britain promised that it will free India from colonial rule, if India helped Britain win WW1 & WW2 (no shit!). And not just India, many locals/foreigners from British colonies were integrated into Royal British Army to fight the Fascists.

My grandfather joined British Army around 1944, was on eastern front against Japanese. Many Indians went as far as the frontlines of Germany, all in service of British military. Some Indians even have the highest honors/medals of British Army. Indians fought Fascists not just to defeat Germans & Japanese but Britain promised us Freedom from Colonial rule. India did get independence in 1947, 2 years after end of WW2.

My honest opinion of British military. Highly disciplined & brave. An efficient Army with expertise in establishing colonial empire & plundering of nations. God bless the queen.

Cool, but you never watched the remake I also mentioned and wanted to be compared to the original. Can you get out of your comfort zone a bit and give me an honest opinion?

So i didn't know what to expect from today's British TV sections. This turned out to be surprisingly good. If you liked American TV series The Wire. You will also like this British Police Drama.

Line of Duty, Season 1 - 4, 2012 - Present
