after I watched the older movie. I wasn't impressed with it :no:

Just give it a chance. The way the girl plays the role is brilliant and Rooster Cogburn played by Jeff Bridges is also a great performance. Weakest part of the movie in my opinion is the character of the Texas Ranger played by Matt Damon.
Trust is hard to gain but easy to lose.

Well, Jo, I enjoyed the remake of True Grit as well. I honestly say it wasn't
as good as the original one. Matt Damon was really good in this movie. I'd
say the hero was Blackie :^^:
