Same here :) Last time the beets dried up in the basement

I'll probably make more dough later today to bake in the morning. Expired flour isn't that bad
My dad still has about 500 kg of grains and probably over 100 of flour. It's like the end of the world
comes and you can start it over anyway

500 kg of grains? Are you raising an ancient army?

Yes. The downside of the Christian religion is that people worship the book of revelations.

My parents moved to this house in the late 90's because of the inflation and the fact that the state was crap and nothing was certain... jobs, income, anything. So it was out of fear, to have a little land in case you can't count on anyone. Last year he bought 20.000 m2 of land in the North of Hunedoara county for the same reason. He's not really a hard working man that you see wake up early in the morning to take care of the garden. That's why I spend a lot of time caring about stuff that shouldn't be a priority for me as I should focus more on developing a personal career. Still in the past decade or so I was able to focus on stuff our society has a vague understanding

Hope that explains it

Since the heavy rain messes up organic tomatoes, this year we don't have any, but today I found some really ripe and a bit mushy tomatoes on the market. They sell for around 40 cents per kilo. 23 kilos today and we have to get another 20 for another round.

The good news is I was able to watch a bit of Le Tour today while prepping the tomatoes
