Well, afaik this movie is five years old but personaly i discovered it only a couple of days ago. I knew about the White Rose story but i didn't knew there was a movie about it.

For me it's a good one, also critics about it on the web are often positive.

Very good film about german attack in 1939 on Poland. The action of movie is on Westerplatte (polish army base)

I just see on Wikipedia that this battle is sometimes called "The Polish Verdun" and that the Polish defenders received the honours of war from the German troops.

btw. On westerplatte was only something like 300 poles vs something like 4 000 germans
