HD2 - Steam version CD key problem - possible fix!

Someone by the name of $h@y told me that the widescreen fix caused the key conflict

ATTENTION: WideScreen MOD that is causing CD-Key in use even if you're using different or original key affects all H&D2 versions out there! Pirate, STEAM, GOG and Retail.
So basically deleting Widescreen Fix solved problems for me and also Mihai. This is the best fix for now imo and it should work for everyone.
Delete these files from your H&D2 main folder:
D3D8.dll

Go to scripts folder and delete these files:
HiddenandDangerous2.WidescreenFix.asi
HiddenandDangerous2.WidescreenFix.ini
modupdater.asi

DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!

You guys, have all my respect! Thank you Snowman and ShayoX... Works flawlessly to me!... In other facts, is there any another kind of widescreen fix solution? without buggin' the game with the annoying "CD key already in use" error? Some hex editing or whatever?
I know sooner or later you'll find the solution. But I never though a fix or mod could cause this kind of error!!... it's weird may I say.

Hey I forgot all about this but I found something I was testing back then.

Maybe you're up to the challenge to see if you can make a program to read and save console text.
Reading and logging server console text can be useful for admins, to find out what was happening.

You can use CheatEngine or some other Memory read/write program just to test it first.

Pointer Adress is:
"HD2DS_SabreSquadron.exe"+004A3CD8
and 4 offsets: 30, 0 , 8, 0

Last text line in console is stored at this address.

I think that with the last version of widescreen you will solve the problem

Ah its different thing, this topic wondered away to the idea of reading out text from server console and ThomasTailor was interested to build this idea to program and i was supposed to help him...
